Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited is a subsidiary of Stanbic Africa Holdings Limited, which is in turn owned by Standard Bank Group Limited. The Standard Bank Group is Africa’s leading banking and financial services provider, ranking top among South African banking groups by market capitalisation and profitability.

Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited is incorporated in Uganda and is a licensed commercial bank. The Bank is a public limited liability company and was listed on the Main Investment Market Segment (MIMS) of the Uganda Securities Exchange on 25 January 2007.
